Connected car is the presence of devices in an automobile that connect the devices to other devices within the vehicle and or devices, networks and services outside the car including infrastructure, office, home, or other cars. Connected car features fall into several categories including payments, diagnostics, infotainment, navigation, safety, and efficiency. Typically, a connected car has an infotainment unit, head-unit, in-dash system with a screen from which the operations of the connections can be seen or managed by the driver.
